Education Leadership Academy
The Guilford Education Alliance partnered with the Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Greensboro program to start the Education Leadership Academy in 2006, and October 2011 marks the 6th annual Academy. The vision of the academy is to inform, educate, inspire, energize, and empower diverse community members to actively engage in advocating, promoting, and supporting a high quality school system in Guilford County. Attended by 50 citizen leaders, the four sessions feature presentations from state and local education leaders on education issues. Many thanks to Cross Company for hosting these four weekly sessions.
Below is the proposed agenda and dates for the 2011 Academy. If you are interested in participating, call (336) 841-4332 or email GEA@GuilfordEducationAlliance.org.
