In the spring, teachers who have just entered the profession in Guilford County are nominated for the Rookie Teacher of the Year Award.
Five finalists were recognized at a breakfast hosted by the Guilford Education Alliance and sponsored by BB&T on Thursday, April 28,2011.
The winner is the proud recipient of a scholarship to UNCG for Graduate Studies.
